What's a really good cognac?

i'm familiar with martel, hennessey, and remy martin, but i am looking to expand my options and try something that's a bit more rare and specialized. what's that good sh!t?|||try courvoisier (xo, napoleon, initiale); hennessy (xo, paradis, richard); remy martin (extra perfection, louis xiii); martell (xo, cordon bleu); abel ferrand (ancestrale); gabriel%26amp;andreu (petite champagne) - enjoy!|||Gallo Ruby Port, Thunderbird, MD 20/20, Night Train, Cisco, and Wild Irish Rose.|||Cognac has various classes. My personal favorite is the XO's, and the various brands that you mentioned makes XO's - Remy Martin, Hennessey, and Courvessier all are wonderful.

Basically, various classes of cognac have to do with the quality of the grape, fermentation process, including how long it is in the barrel. You will pay a whole lot more for somewhat improved quality.

If you have enough money to burn, surely you can go for Louis XIII, Relentless, etc. - you don't mind $200-300 per glass.|||Louis XIII is the way to go.

Try these.
