Value of bottle of Remy Martin?

I have a bottle of Remy Martin that i found in my basement boxed away. The seal says 4-1-89 so im guessing thats a date. Iv looked at pictures online but cant find the same label anywhere. Im wondering what the value of this bottle might be. It says VSOP on it, though i dont know what the significance of that is. Any help would be appreciated.|||The same price as when it was purchased. B|||I doubt it's worth more than $60. Usually something more rare will have special reserve or something. Since the bottle in now 20 years older, it should be very good if the basement was cool and dry.

The VSOP stands for Very Old Special Pale, it is 5 year old cognac created from white wine. Personally I'd keep that bad boy. The only other thing I can suggest is take it to a local liquor shop or at least shots of the label. They might have more insight.

But I would be looking for some ice and Coca-Cola. Cognac and Coke are dynamite together.|||a fifth of remy vsop costs about $45 i think. but i don't think it gets better with age, it might also get ruined if the seal went bad.

Someone that collects old bottles might find it has more value.

ps. mixing vsop with anything should be against the law.
